On the morning of February 13, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phường Phước Bình, led by Mr. Hà Tấn Tân, Member of the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee and Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee, and Mr. Nguyễn Huy Thắng, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee and Chairman of the Ward Farmers’ Association, chaired the third consultative conference to select and finalize the list of qualified candidates for the People’s Council of the ward for the 2026–2031 term.

Attending the conference was Ms. Phạm Thị Anh Thư, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Ward People’s Council, and Chairwoman of the Ward Election Committee, along with leaders of the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front, and member organizations of the ward.

At the conference, delegates heard a report on the results of voter meetings held at residential areas to gather comments and credibility votes for candidates nominated for People’s Council positions at all levels for the 2026–2031 term. Following the second consultative conference, from February 4 to February 8, the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front coordinated with the Ward People’s Committee to organize 16 voter consultation meetings involving 40 candidates. These included 21 candidates nominated for the Ward People’s Council, two candidates nominated for the Provincial People’s Council, and 17 candidates nominated for People’s Councils of other wards and communes but residing in the ward.

During the consultation meetings, voters highly appreciated the candidates’ qualifications, professional capacity, moral character, and lifestyle. Residents also recognized the candidates’ active participation in community activities and their fulfillment of civic responsibilities. Voters expressed strong confidence and expectation that, once elected, the candidates would continue to pay close attention to the lives of local residents and effectively fulfill their responsibilities as People’s Council representatives.

After discussions and exchanges, 100 percent of the conference delegates voted in agreement to finalize the list of candidates who meet all required standards for nomination to the Ward People’s Council for the 2026–2031 term.

Following the third consultative conference, the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee will complete official meeting minutes and finalize the list of qualified candidates in accordance with legal regulations before submitting them to competent authorities to proceed with the next steps of the election process.
