The 1st (Expanded) Conference of the Executive Committee of the Phuoc Binh Ward Trade Union

On the morning of October 24, 2025, the Executive Committee of the Phuoc Binh Ward Trade Union, under the Dong Nai Provincial Confederation of Labor, held its 1st (Expanded) Conference.
 

Attending and directing the conference were comrades:
 

• Tran Ba Loi – Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Head of the Industrial Zones Trade Union Committee, Dong Nai Provincial Confederation of Labor;
   

  

• Pham Thi Anh Thu – Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People’s Council of Phuoc Binh Ward;
   

  

• Nguyen Thi Huong Thuy – Party Committee Member, Chairwoman of the Phuoc Binh Ward Trade Union.

During the conference, delegates reviewed the activities of the Trade Union during the provisional period, discussed and proposed objectives, directions, and key tasks for the 2025–2030 term, and contributed opinions to the Draft Document of the 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Confederation of Labor as well as the revised and supplemented Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union (13th tenure).

At the event, the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Confederation of Labor announced the Decision on the appointment of the 1st Executive Committee of the Phuoc Binh Ward Trade Union, along with the delegates nominated to attend the 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Confederation of Labor, term 2025–2030.

Currently, the Phuoc Binh Ward Trade Union manages 64 grassroots trade unions, including 50 private enterprises, 2 labor associations, 6 public units, and 6 non-public units. In recent years, the Ward Trade Union has implemented several meaningful activities such as:

• Organizing online contests to promote knowledge of the Law on Social Insurance and the Law on Trade Unions;

• Hosting the “Trade Union Meal” program for 224 members with a total budget of 20 million VND;

• Participating in public opinion surveys and conducting social surveys on anti-corruption, thrift practice, and prevention of negative phenomena during the 13th Party Congress term;

• Organizing cultural activities including the “Ao Dai and Ao Ba Ba” fashion contest and the “Women Workers – Beauty in Labor” photo contest, both launched by the Dong Nai Confederation of Labor, attracting enthusiastic participation from union members and workers.

The 1st (Expanded) Conference of the Executive Committee of the Phuoc Binh Ward Trade Union marks an important milestone, reflecting the spirit of solidarity, unity, and innovation of the ward’s trade union organization in the new phase. It also affirms the Trade Union’s commitment to protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers, and actively contributing to the overall socio-economic development of Phuoc Binh Ward.
