During the first working session of the 1st Congress of the Phuoc Binh Ward Farmers’ Association (Term 2025–2030), in response to the appeal from the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province, Mr. Nguyen Huy Thang – Standing Vice Chairman of the Ward Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Chairman of the Ward Farmers’ Association – read an open letter from the Ward Fatherland Front Committee calling on all officials, Party members, civil servants, public employees, workers, armed forces, residents, organizations, and businesses in the ward to uphold the tradition of “mutual affection and mutual assistance”, joining hands to support people in areas severely affected by recent floods and storms.
With the spirit of “Standing together with the nation, sharing the losses and hardships of people in the northern and central provinces affected by natural disasters,” Mr. Nguyen Huy Thang expressed his hope that delegates attending the Congress would actively participate in the donation campaign to help fellow citizens overcome the consequences of recent storms. He emphasized that this meaningful contribution reflects the noble tradition of solidarity among the Vietnamese people and serves as an important source of encouragement for disaster-affected communities to soon restore their lives.
At the launching ceremony, delegates directly donated a total of 7,172,000 VND. The collected amount will be transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Binh Ward for timely delivery to the affected areas.
